Spaces are the folders that house your collections. You can create a Space when you first install Kazaa or at any time afterwards by selecting the “Create a New Space” option from the File drop down menu. Clicking the “Create a New Space” option starts the wizard to guide you through the quick process:

Remember to:

• Add a description so people know what your Space is about
• Choose a photo to personalize your Space

Hint: A photo will help your Space get listed in the Spaces Directory!


Choose your Privacy Settings

Your Spaces can be public or private. If you choose to make a Space Public, then the Collections that you create within that Space (and the files that make up each Collection) will be available for anyone to see. The Space will appear in the Spaces Directory and your files will be available for searches.

Once you have created a new Space, it will appear in the left hand side menu with your other Spaces. All of the details you entered about that Space will display on your Space Homepage.


Kazaa lets you create as many spaces as you like with your one user account.
